- You should be able to re-start your PPP connection without
- any problems, depending on how you connected it in the
- first place. Whatever command you use from the CLI to start
- it up, just type it in again. Hopefully, in your ppp0.config
- file you have the "CD" parameter in there. That way, the
- ppp.device will already know that your modem is connected
- because of the hardwired CD line in your modem cable.

- When a crash happens to me, I just reboot, start up a new CLI,
- and type "internet". Everything reconnects just fine without
- redialing.
